MELAKA, MALAYSIA, August 08, 2025 – Intrinseque Health is setting foundation of a first-of-its-kind GMP Warehouse in Melaka, Malaysia. First announced by Nitin Jain, President & CEO at Intrinseque Health, during his Malaysian operations inauguration speech last month, adorned with the presence of the Chief Minister of Melaka, the primary objective of this state-of-the-art facility would be to support its customers’ drug development activities.

This unit will serve as the company’s Asia Pacific hub focusing on clinical trial needs for global development of new drugs.

The Good Manufacturing Practice Compliant Warehouse will be segmented into three zones. The first zone will consist of two floors and will host the office and admin needs of the unit. Medical Affairs & Quality Assurance activities will be served in this area.

The second zone will be the production zone. This is where the clinical trial material preparation, kitting, relabeling, secondary packaging, etc will be conducted. The respective arena has been designed bearing in mind the safety of workers and clinical professionals, regulatory compliance and customer and trial requirements, as well as the produce. Separate designated spaces will be allocated for Returns and Quarantine storage, Rejects and thus facilitating proper handling and traceability.

Coming to the final zone i.e. Storage, the facility will provide temperature-controlled storage areas operating at multiple temperature ranges, required to store different types of products. Lauding the latest adventure of Intrinseque Health, Jain remarked, “This facility marks a pivotal step in advancing clinical research infrastructure while deepening our commitment to innovation and growth across Southeast Asia”.
